Mission

IndoSuccess is an international consulting establishment promoting economic, education, and cultural relationships through diplomacy between ASEAN countries, particularly the Republic of Indonesia, and the United States of America. In this function, IndoSuccess serves as an intermediary between foreign and U.S. governments at local, state and national levels as well as between foreign governments and U.S. educational institutions and businesses.

Accomplishments

 

January 27, 2005, IndoSuccess in partnership with the St. Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Committee hosted the Indonesian Business Seminar and Market Meetings for PLN, the state operated electric power company in Indonesia. Presentations were made by Mr. Randy LaBounty, U.S. Commerce Department – Export Assistance, Ms. Endang Dewi Mardeyani, Indonesian Consul for Economic Affairs, and Mr. Wayne Forest, Director, American Indonesian Chamber of Commerce. Afterwards, there were PLN market breakout meetings for electrical components/equipment, energy management, engineering services for power plant & transmission, finance & investment, information technology & communication and shipping/transportation. 

During the Seminar, the Honorable John Campisi, Chairman, St. Louis County Council presented a check for $3,200.00 in the name of the St. Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Committee to Honorable Daulat Pasaribu, Consul General, Republic of Indonesia for Tsunami Relief Fund.

May 19 2004, IndoSuccess arranged the meeting between Honorable County Executive, Charlie Dooley, St. Louis County, Missouri and Honorable Consul General Daulat Pasaribu, Republic of Indonesia, Chicago Consulate, for the signing of the Joint Statement of Agreement supporting the St. Louis-Bogor Sister-Cities Program in the Office of the County Executive.  At the same time, St. Louis County Executive Dooley signed a Letter of Intent to be signed by Honorable Diani Budiarto, Mayor, City of Bogor, West Java, Indonesia for the St. Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Program.  Mayor Budiarto recently signed this Letter of Intent completing official recognition of the St.Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Program.

IndoSuccess arranged the meeting between Honorable Francis Slay, City of St. Louis, Missouri, and Honorable Consul General Daulat Pasaribu, for the signing of a similar Joint Statement of Agreement supporting the St. Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Program in the St. Louis Mayor’s Office.

During his visit in St. Louis, IndoSuccess made meeting appointments for Consul General Pasaribu with Mr. Robert R. Heuermann, Jr., Executive Director, World Trade Center-St.Louis; Mr. David L. Broughton, Executive Vice President, NIDUS Center for Scientific Enterprise; Mr. Robert H. Rose, Director, Public Relations and Government Affairs, Danforth Plant Science Center; Dr. Joel Glassman, Executive Director, Center for International Studies, University of Missouri-St. Louis and Dr. Daniel K. Mueller, Director, International Healthcare Services, Barnes-Jewish Hospital

September 9, 2003, IndoSuccess arranged the first official meeting with the St. Louis County Government to establish the St.Louis-Bogor Sister Cities Program.  Dignitaries in attendance were Honorable Charlie Dooley, Councilman, 1st Council District; Honorable Skip Mange, Councilman, 3rd County Council District and Chairman of the St. Louis County Council; Mr. Robert Grant, Deputy County Counselor, St. Louis County Government; Honorable Sumahadi, Minister of Forestry and Plantation, Republic of Indonesia (Fmr); Mr. Utoyo Sutopo, President, Indonesian Dental Association (Fmr); Dr. Joel Glassman, Director, Center for International Studies, UMSL; Mr. Rachmadi Santoso, Partner, PT Tiga Sekawan Sejati Company, Jakarta, Indonesia and Mr. Supriadi Legino, Manager, Human Resources Division, PT PLN Indonesia, Indonesian Electric Utility Company.

June 17, 2003, in a meeting arranged by Mr. Soetjipto and Mr. Passanise, the Ambassador from the Republic of Indonesia to the United States, His Excellency Soemadi D.M. Brotodiningrat stated his support for the contribution of IndoSuccess in developing stronger relations between Indonesia and the United States. 

February 25, 2003, IndoSuccess brokered a partnership agreement between PT PLN Indonesia and the University of Missouri-St. Louis for the purpose of exploring the creation of higher educational programs within PT PLN Indonesia.

October 18, 2001, IndoSuccess co-hosted with the World Trade Council in Wichita, in cooperation with the Indonesian Consulate in Chicago an International Business Seminar:  “Doing Business in Indonesia” in Wichita, Kansas.   IndoSuccess assisted Minister Triyono Wibowo, SH, in coordination with Wichita business representatives. 

September 20-24, 2001, IndoSuccess assisted the Indonesian Consulate General in Houston, Texas during the official visit of President Megawati Soekarnoputri of the Republic of Indonesia. 

April 20, 2001, IndoSuccess co-hosted with the World Trade Center-New Orleans in cooperation with the Indonesian Consulate in Houston an International Business Seminar:  “Doing Business in the Vast Indonesian Market” in New Orleans, Louisiana.

November 29, 2000, IndoSuccess co-hosted with the Indonesian Consulate General in Chicago, the IndoSuccess International Business Seminar:   “Profiting Indonesia:  Business Opportunities in One of the World’s Largest Markets” at the University of Missouri in St. Louis, MO.   In his video, His Excellency Dr. Dorodjatun Kuntjoro Jakti, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United States, personally endorsed IndoSuccess. 

October 27-29, 2000, IndoSuccess participated in the seminar hosted by the Indonesian international student organization, Internasional Permias at Northwestern University, Chicago, IL

 

May 22, 2000, IndoSuccess and the Indonesian Consulate General in Chicago jointly conducted an International Business Seminar:  “Creating Champion Hearts for a Better Indonesia” in Chicago, IL.
